Newark (Bathang) manuscript Kanjur


Description:

The manuscript Kanjur which is kept at the Newark Museum, USA, comes from Bathang ('Ba' thang) in the Southern Kham. albert Shelton (1875-1922) bought 24 volumes of this Kanjur after the destruction of the 'Ba' chos Monastery in Bathang and brought it to Newark.
