Narthang printed Kanjur

Description:

The printed edition from Narthang was initiated by the 6th Dalai Lama, Tshang dbyang rgya mtsho (1683-1705). the work on the xylographic plates was interupted after his death in 1705. Mi pham pho lha bsod nams stobs rgyal (1689-1747) re-started few years later the work on this edition which was completed in 1732.
