Berlin manuscript Kanjur

The manuscript edition kept in the "Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin" (formerly "Königliche Bibliothek zu Berlin") was acquired in 1889 by the German Ambassador v. Brandt. The collection contains 108 volumes and comes from the Yōnghégōng (雍和宮) Temple in Beijing.
The Berlin manuscript Kanjur belongs to the Peking sub-line of the Tshal pa Kanjur line and is a 1680 copy of the Wanli xylograph Kanjur of 1606 from Peking (There is another manuscript Kanjur based on this Wanli Kanjur in the National Palace Museum in Taipei which still is to be studied).
