dpon-gsas bla-ma, as found in the colophon, is identified as 'gro-mgon blo-gros in ntkc (tibetan version, p. 24, line 16). the appended pages 187-199 do not belong to this text. these are verses of praise occasioned by the death of the author's teacher, 'a-zha blo-gros rgyal-mtshan. the author belonged to the bru clan.
